This session will address the following two key issues:
1. Assessing Road Safety Risks
2. Improving Road Safety Outcomes
The Safe System Approach applies to all road users. This session highlights road safety management and understanding through data assessment, and offers insights on road infastructure relationship to safety. Data and risk assessments are highlighted and how they can be used by transport agencies and practitioners to improve road safety outcomes. This session discusses safety approaches during typical and adverse weather conditions.
